My Thai friend L. took this photo of me in Central Park and described its accidental diplopia. L., from the combination of having to take the GRE multiple times and her seriousness as a student, has a vast but sometimes displaced vocabulary. I had to look "diplopia" up. I'm not sure this is displopia but I'm so accustomed to Instagram and digital photography, I forgot how beautiful film and all its improbability can be at the hands of an amateur.
